From Sallertaine to the Moulin de Rairé. A walk of almost 2 kilometres that doesn't require any particular difficulty.
To find yourself at the very heart of nature, opt for the loop in the marshes of Sallertaine. You'll be enthralled by these marshes as far as the eye can see, and above all, you'll be able to enjoy the peace and quiet.
The Breton marshes, located right around Challans, are perfect for walks in the heart of a unique ecosystem. You'll discover a wealth of wildlife (herons, storks, egrets) and typical landscapes: wet meadows, canals and streams.

The forêt de Monts, around 20 minutes from Challans, offers pleasant trails, especially if you're looking for shade in summer.
Recommended route: Circuit de la Forêt des Pays de Monts, with waymarked paths for easy walking.
