If you're thinking of spending your next holiday in the Vendée and you look at a map of the department, it's actually quite easy to find the ideal place to stay. In any case, for our family, it will be a rental close to Challans, and preferably in a cheap camping.
Let me tell you why this is exactly the place we're looking for. The Vendée has a thousand facets, and we'd like to discover as many of them as possible: from the fine sandy beaches of the Côte de Lumière, to the wild islands of Ile d'Yeu and Noirmoutier and its mythical Passage du Gois, not forgetting the famous Puy du Fou. As these points of interest are quite far apart, we opted to stay at Challans which is close to everything. We will be booking a rental in the cheap camping Domaine de Bellevue, so we'll be able to enjoy ourselves on the side and explore many different places.
