If you like to get off the beaten track, this is the day for you...
Head to the Gué Gorand lake, near Apremont, to enjoy the wonders of nature.
Just a few kilometres from our campsite, you can discover an unspoilt site that is ideal for birdwatching. It's not unusual to come across great crested grebes, herons and black-headed gulls.
You can also download the Visorando for full details of this walk. There are several possible starting points, but we recommend that you leave from the car park on the south bank.
NB: If you're a mountain biker, you can also follow this trail.
After the effort, the comfort...
What better way to take a well-earned break than with a picnic on the banks of 'la vie'.
In a sumptuous setting, in the shade of the trees or on the specially prepared area, you'll enjoy your sandwiches and salads just as much as the breathtaking view over the lake. You're in for a real treat!
After a morning of nature at its best, you can head to the leisure centre for water sports or simply to enjoy the beach.
This leisure centre offers visitors a plethora of activities...
In a postcard setting, you'll be spoilt for choice to occupy your afternoon.
Our fishing friends won't be asking too many questions, as the site is renowned for its wide variety of fish (carp, perch, pike-perch, predators, etc.).
Some of you may be tempted to try some of the more energetic activities, such as wakeboarding or ski-lift.
Worth knowing: You'll also find an aquapark on the site, which is sure to delight everyone.
Lots of fun to be had on the floating inflatables.
The more contemplative will undoubtedly prefer to glide over the waters of the lake by hiring a paddle, canoe or electric boat.

Fans of lazing around will no doubt opt for a sunbathing session accompanied by a dip in the pool. The area lends itself wonderfully well to this.

Just 50m from the beach and its water sports activities, you can take a break at the restaurant Le Cabanon. In a friendly atmosphere, you'll enjoy a simple, efficient catering service and a magnificent view over the lake.
The restaurant is open from April to September.
