This summer, we're heading for the Vendée, to the coast of light to enjoy the ocean and its iodine-scented scents, to discover one of the most beautiful leisure parks in the world, the Puy du Fou, to have fun in the waves with the kids and take a well-deserved sunbath! And while we were at it, we wanted to find some unusual accommodation, a campsite for example with a canvas hut in the Vendée ; we'd already tried it and the children clearly loved it.
Yes, it's like playing at being an adventurer, like being back in the days of the Indians in the American West - in short, it's fun and it's a change from everyday life. So we looked in Vendée what campsite offered canvas cabins and we found what we thought was a great address, Domaine de Bellevue in Saint Christophe de Ligneron. We liked everything about this campsite; 20 minutes from the coast and its bustle, it's ideally situated for us to discover the whole area. There's no question of spending our time "sunbathing" when there are a thousand and one wonders in this department that we want to explore. The Vendée bocage and its tragic history, the Marais Poitevin and its romanticism, the Puy du Fou and O'Gliss Park theme parks we'd like to discover, museums and parks in the Vendée we'd like to visit...
We certainly won't have time to do everything, but one thing is certain: this campsite with canvas hut in the Vendée is a godsend, and we intend to make the most of it.
